WIP Horror Concept
Figured I’d upload the start of my first ever attempt at drawing a horse.
Once I get the general shape I’m going to go over it again. The final concept will feature a horse that is half statue/bone, half flesh/exposed tissue. The stonework will look like a partially complete marble sculpture with featureless rough hewn edges and patches of smooth refined shapes, and the occasional chisel hammered deep into cracks.
WIP Stone Tower Temple Re-Remix - “Stone Palindrome”
The original version of this remix on my youtube channel is sitting around 16 thousand views and rising so I figured I should see about doing it justice and reworking it to my current skill level. This is what I have so far.
I just ate the most delicious sandwich.
- Fresh Wheat Deli Sub sandwich-bread
- Cracked Pepper Turkey
- Pepper-jack Cheese
- Thin-sliced fresh jalapenos (notpickled)
- Couple drops of El Yucateco Green Chili Sauce
With Baked Lays (Original) and some strawberry/banana/orange juice to go with it.
It’s one thing I can look forward to now that the weather has warmed up- the produce section has good jalapenos again (I put them in everything, especially Ramen).
The worst part was going to the store after not eating all day and waiting while they sliced all the meat/cheese, and then having to walk by an in-store Subway five times getting the rest of the stuff.
Remember when I said I was going to draw some creepy creatures as potential horror monster concepts a couple months ago?
I think I’m finally going to get around to it, here, soon.
I knew you could look for wolf spiders with a flashlight by looking for their green eyeshine, but I didn’t realize how easy it was. Went out to do laundry and decided to look around and found atleast 7 spiders chowing down on beetles and stuff within a minute or so in the general area of the washing machine. Even the tiny baby ones were just as easy to find.
Hrm.
Remember when I used to post music in the dead hours of the night where no one ever managed to see the post to listen to it? Yeeaaaahhh…
Welcome to the inside of my old castle.
Built with around 20 thousand blocks all mined in a quarry nearby in survival mode. It’s a good deal bigger than it looks because it reaches pretty far back beyond what is visible, not to mention the dungeons built beneath it and the outer wall that spanned a total length of about 1000 blocks.
I wasn’t ever able to calculate the amount of cobblestone that went into building the outer wall, but at 7-ish blocks high and 5 blocks wide with a dirt core, and 2 or so blocks more of crenelation, as well as guard towers and gatehouses… Well lets just say a lot of effort went into it. I never really finished it.
Note: This was before smoothstone brick, around Beta 1.7.3, so all the stone brick you see is actually cobblestone with a texture pack changing it’s appearance.
To think
Of all the things my brother has created, it’s when some guy makes a “Rasta Nyan Cat” and uses one of his 8-bit tracks on it that the video gets two million views and a bit of E-fame.
Hmmm
Can’t play Minecraft because of a memory leak issue.
I’ve had it before sometime during Beta 1.7.3 but then either I fixed it and can’t remember how, or one of the later updates fixed it.
As it is now, it’s back, and it’s unplayable as a result. Essentially after a couple minutes of playing (anywhere from 1-5) the game will experience a serious drop in FPS, a patch of flickering green glitchy stuff can be seen in the top left corner stretching down toward the item bar. Then it’ll suddenly crash. Best case scenario it gives me the “Out of Memory” screen and close out. Worst it’ll just entirely shut off the program and then a minute or so later my computer locks up completely forcing me to hard-boot and bring windows back up manually.
My laptop agrees with me
This place is too fucking hot.
I think 180F (79C) for a GPU is a bit… much…
